Sustaining Partners Initiative
Allan Parker, President and CEO of World Potato Congress Inc. announced today the official launch of the WPC Inc. Sustaining Partners Initiative.
World Potato Congress Inc. is the organization that brings together the world’s potato industry. It provides a unique bridge between potato science, marketing, commerce, equipment manufacturers, producers and policy makers.
President Parker noted, “World Potato Congress Inc. has reached a place where organizational growth is necessary to fulfill our mandate and offer increased support to the global potato industry. The Sustaining Partners Initiative is designed to stabilize our operations, and provide the seed money necessary to offer members and partners enhanced programming and networking opportunities,” confirmed Parker
Sustaining Partners make a three-year commitment to World Potato Congress Inc. In each of the three years they contribute $3,000, $2,000 or $1000, depending on the partnership level chosen.
In return for their commitment, sustaining partners are invited to participate in a number of packages offered by the Congress.
- Official recognition as a Platinum, Gold or Silver Sustaining Partner
- Support for delegates from developing and transitional economies
- Featured, with hotlink corporate logo, on the WPC Inc. website
- Corporate logo used in the triennial Congress program
- Access to the World Potato Congress logo for corporate promotions
- Recognition during the opening ceremonies of the tri-annual Congress
- Promotion in Congressional delegate kit bags
- Receipt of all news items distributed to WPC Inc. subscribers
