“The World Potato Congress Inc. is dedicated to supporting the global growth and development of the potato.”
We do this by bringing together the broad potato industry represented by both developing and developed countries. We facilitate access to useful and applicable information. Ultimately we are building a network of common interest, 'a global potato family' with all the interests and practical concerns inherent in such a diverse group.

Our Vision

Our vision for the World Potato Congress Inc. is to become a premier networking organization, which has global reach and creates meaning for its membership by creating links of communication and information sharing throughout the world potato community.

The Organization

World Potato Congress is a non-profit organization supported by a group of volunteer directors representing potato jurisdictions around the world.
Congress Events are hosted in partnership with local host committees.

A Brief History

Since 1993, World Potato Congress Inc. has been the proud sponsor of the world's most diverse potato conference. To date successful Congress events have been held in:
